For users without a Mac can still find the Internet Install Guide in the sidebar. The reason for this is that these tools do more damage than good as they neither teach you what you're doing and can also damage macOS itself with unneeded framework changes.

I understood from the guide that if I selected my main Yosemite disk as the target during Clover installation, with the options I'd selected, then it would automatically install to the EFI partition on that disk, but it seems to have installed to the main partition instead. I'm a bit puzzled why the guide I followed isn't working for me though.

I ran out of time tonight to try anything else but tomorrow I might try mounting the EFI partition then choosing it as the destination when I install Clover again. On the main Yosemite disk, however, there is loads of stuff in the EFI folder, including CLOVER sub folders etc. When I followed Jithin's instructions to mount the EFI partition, I found it was almost entirely empty. When I added the Clover entries as you describe, the only difference was several new items appearing in the F12 boot menu - but when I tried the Yosemite one I got the same error as before - something like "insert boot media and press any key, or reboot" Thanks for the suggestion, kapone, but it didn't work.
